In accordance with the initial OLT decision on June 12, 2024 with a final decision issued on Feb. 19, 2025, and a subsequent amendment approved on Mar. 20, 2025, site works have commenced to prepare for home construction. The subject development parcels on the southern half of the course are private property and have been fenced off in preparation for site work and construction. Trespassing is not permitted for the safety of the community and security of the site. We have installed additional fencing on remaining portions of the golf course that are closed but hadn’t been fenced, in order to comply with insurance obligations and ensure the safety of the community. These areas are private property and trespassing is forbidden. ?? As we prepare for the next stage of construction, some work will be done on the parcel behind Latimer at the corner of Millcroft Park Drive on October 31. The city is aware of this necessary work and we want to ensure homeowners are as well. ? We acknowledge that many in the community are disappointed to see the removal of trees, however, it is often a necessary step in the creation of new homes. As part of our approved development application, we have preserved 425 existing trees and are planting over 2,600 new trees in the developed blocks.
