Positives: Location, Facilities, Parking, sheltered Balcony (no rain or snow) Show more Negatives: falling ice? no setback from sidewalk, QMC submetering Comments: I wouldn't have believed that living under the North Ottawa Airport runway or in the middle of a parking lot would make any kind of sense, but it's surprisingly convenient. Sadly finding a family doctor on Merivale is tough... but everything is walking distance. QMC power meter tried to re-adjust my bill by 400 kWhrs on my 1000 actual usage; but reverse all charges, ignore that QMC replaced the meter and have a nice day... Astro-comical. Most building now have heat pumps but switch-over from Cooling Mode in Sept / Oct might cause Electric Heater to Run and send power consumption very high... never disclosed by Claridge or QMC... since Heat / Water / Cooling is included in the Rent; unless Back-up Electric Heater kicks on? So selecting thermostat Off=Auto seems essential... Building is Energy Efficient = insulated... Sheltered Balcony seems essential as well (no Rain, no Snow = Fan-tastic). 320 Titan dialed back on Full Wall of Windows or Balcony's Extra door, still lots of light. Show less
