Positives: None Show more Negatives: My first and last ever pre-construction, a never ending nightmare (6 years and counting) thanks to this awful, untrustworthy builder Comments: How can so many things be done so terribly in a 700 square foot apartment? Terrible quality of build, nothing done as sold ('luxury apartment' = appallingly poor quality), it's like someone told them they needed to deliver a home in a week so they threw this together. Almost everything in my 'luxury suite' had to be redone after closing; the finishes I selected were not fitted and done wrong, the flooring needed entirely replaced after I'd moved in, electrical needed redone, fixtures wrong, walls had to be cut out and HVAC redone, there's a non-flush wall in the master bedroom that juts out which was never disclosed and is not in any drawing/floorpan, so I can't fit a bed in my only bedroom (!). Right down to the suite door (which had to be replaced twice and still not done right). It's been over a year since I closed, biggest mistake/regret of my life, I hate my home, loathe these people, my file is still open with Tarion 14+ months later and builder hasn't paid compensation owed. Positives: Great Location Show more Negatives: Shoddy building - poor workmanship, poor materials and not built as set out in the as built documents. Comments: There are 4 buildings intros development. Three have confirmed serious leaks and are doing on-going repairs. One building is currently having to replace the entire exterior cladding due to missing materials behind the walls such as missing water proofing, gaps around windows, missing boards. As the repairs continue a lot of water damage has been identified including structural corrosion of support beams requiring balconies to be shored. In addition there are cracks in the HSS beams due to water penetration and damage. One beam has shifted due to water freezing and causing expansion Missing and corroded bolts on balconies. Show less
