A 13,000-square-foot mixed-use project is hurtling towards a vacant corner lot at 535 Flushing Avenue in Williamsburg.<\/p>\n

Located at the intersection of Flushing and Nostrand avenues, the six-story, six-unit building will have 2,900 square feet of commercial space, 1,096 square feet of community facility space and 8,915 square feet of residential. Jeffrey Kamen is the architect of record, according to the permit<\/a> filed today.<\/p>\n

Apartments will start on the third floor, and the building will rise 70 feet. The 45′ by 100′ lot was acquired by Herab Realty LLC in 2009 for $852,000, according to Department of Finance records.<\/p>\n
