Now, The Real Deal<\/a> has identified the buyer as Jared Kushner, who is amassing quite the portfolio in the neighborhood.<\/p>\n The package consists of a six-story, 34-unit building and a five-story, nine-unit building. The seller was Keystone Group founder Erez Itzhaki, who had just acquired the buildings from long-time owner Marie Kripanidhi, The Real Deal reported.<\/p>\n Itzhaki told The Real Deal that he sold the walk-up buildings to focus his energies on other deals, such as the $130 million buy of 100 Varick Street in partnership with Michael Shvo.<\/p>\n The sale was handled by Itzhaki Properties\u2019 Edan Cohen and Yona Edelkopf. The contiguous walk-ups have a total of four ground-floor retail spaces.<\/p>\n 170 East 2nd Street, the larger of the two structures, was home to Allen Ginsberg from 1958 to 1961.
