The 22,496-square-foot building will include parking for 10 cars, storage, bike storage and a rooftop recreation area.<\/p>\n<p>The site is currently home to a two-story building erected in the early 1900s. EcoRise acquired the property in August for $1.25 million, according to public records.<\/p>\n<p>The developer&#8217;s previous projects include seven-unit 550 Grand Street and seven-unit 161 Roebling Street, according to the <a href=\"http:\/\/ecoriseny.com\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"external\">company&#8217;s site<\/a>. As befits the name &#8220;EcoRise,&#8221; the firm &#8220;utiliz[es] the latest technology and design to obtain significant air and light, blurring of indoor\/outdoor space and use of greenery as well as adaptive reuse of materials, selection of low-impact and non-toxic finishes and energy efficiency.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div
