Alfa purchased the 5,200-square-foot development site in 2012 for $14.65 million, <a href=\"http:\/\/therealdeal.com\/blog\/2013\/03\/15\/alfas-neighbor-squabble-delays-latest-mepa-project\/\" class=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">The Real Deal<\/a> reported.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The building will be designed by Kutnicki Bernstein Architects, according to a <a href=\"http:\/\/a810-bisweb.nyc.gov\/bisweb\/JobsQueryByNumberServlet?requestid=2&amp;passjobnumber=110216588&amp;passdocnumber=08\" class=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">permit<\/a> filed in November 2012.
