Is your dream home one of nightmares? Good news: the house from \u201cA Nightmare on Elm Street\u201d has hit the market for $2.1 million<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This charming abode, with is arch entryway, is where Freddy Krueger first began haunting and murdering his teenage victims in their dreams.<\/p>\n

While the 1984 film was set in Springwood, Ohio, the home is actually located in Los Angeles. The home\u2019s street number, however, is the same as it was in the movie, 1428.<\/p>\n

According to AOL Real Estate<\/a>, the house was in terrible condition when current owner Angela Hill bought it in 2006.<\/p>\n

“It was horrible,” Hill told AOL. “It was the only house on the street that looked beaten up. … The pool looked like it hadn’t been touched in 10 years \u2013 it was black.”<\/p>\n

Hill says she had to completely gut the home and replace “every piece of wood.” She even reconfigured the entire floor plan.\u00a0Luckily for any potential buyer, murderous monsters are no longer part of the home\u2019s features.<\/p>\n
