The painting by contemporary artist George Condo worth an estimated $2.5 million? If you ask us, it\u2019s the 150-year-old olive tree imported from Tuscany that required a 110-ton crane and a 15-person crew to reach its final destination in the home\u2019s open-air, central courtyard.<\/p>\n Named \u2018Elementi,\u2019 the 18,000-square-foot estate was envisioned by Michael Chen of the design-development firm Luxford Group<\/a> in collaboration with SAOTA Architects<\/a>. Asking $65 million or the bitcoin equivalent, this new construction residence offers six bedrooms and a spectacular master retreat featuring dual ensuite bathrooms and a custom closet that rivals any Rodeo Drive boutique.<\/p>\n The entrance creates an unforgettable first impression with a marble walkway that floats over a water feature. Stepping through the oversized, pivoting front door reveals panoramic views that stretch from Downtown Los Angeles to the Pacific Ocean. The design concept was inspired by the section of the Pacific Coast Highway that passes through Big Sur, celebrated for its iconic bridges and mountainside tunnels.<\/p>\n Once inside, you\u2019ll discover a double-height atrium commanded by the gnarled olive tree, which first took root in the 1870s.
