Eight apartments would be set aside for very low-income households, representing 14 percent of the total unit count.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nThe ground floor would house three commercial spaces and a two-story restaurant. Upstairs on the mezzanine level, there would also be three leasable offices. All in all, the building\u2019s commercial component would encompass 8,030 square feet. A robotic parking structure would supply 70 residential spaces, although the applicant is seeking a waiver to reduce the number of required commercial spaces to zero.<\/p>\n
The residential component would include a ground-floor lobby and leasing office, plus bicycle storage and repair rooms on the mezzanine level. The second floor would feature an indoor fitness center and lounge, both of which would open onto a 1,625-square-foot outdoor terrace with a free weights and stretching area, yoga deck, bistro tables, and an outdoor meeting table. An expansive, open-air roof deck is proposed for the sixth floor, complete with fire pits, lounge seating, a covered dining area, bar seating and a living wall.<\/p>\n
Designed by <\/span>MVE + Partners<\/span><\/a>, the modern mid-rise would be clad in white and gray cement plaster and wood-look siding, accented with dark-trimmed aluminum windows and glass balcony guardrails. The commercial spaces would be framed by neutral-colored tile and include prominent signage and large windows.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nIn the neighborhood, leasing is now underway at <\/span>Vica Silver Lake<\/span>, <\/span>Junction 421<\/span> and <\/span>1048 Manzanita<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n
