<\/a><\/p>\nRendering:\u00a0Ottinger Architects<\/em><\/p>\n Nearly a month after its <\/span>application<\/span><\/a> was submitted to Los Angeles City Planning, we have our first glimpse at 2225 Sunset Boulevard<\/a>, a proposed 176-unit apartment building in Echo Park.<\/span><\/p>\n Cypress Equity Investments<\/a> (CEI) is the developer behind the planned rental complex, which seeks to add a variety of unit types to the neighborhood \u2014 including studios, junior one-bedroom, two-bedroom, four-bedroom, five-bedroom, and live\/work apartments. In exchange for Transit Oriented Communities (TOC) incentives, 18 units would be set aside for extremely low-income households.<\/p>\n Rendering:\u00a0Ottinger Architects<\/em><\/p>\n According to CEI\u2019s website, 2225 Sunset Boulevard would boast \u201cbest-in-class interior finishes,\u201d alongside modern amenities including a lobby, pool, fitness center, co-working space, two community rooms, and an open-air courtyard with a spa, lounge seating, dining tables and barbecues. Two roof decks, featuring sweeping views of Hollywood and DTLA, would offer additional areas for grilling, dining and relaxation.<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
