Plans call for two five-story buildings, each \u201cwrapped around a seven-level parking structure,\u201d providing a total of 1,318 vehicle spaces. Publicly accessible open space would be incorporated into the project, including a linear greenspace with access to a trail that connects to nearby Mabury Park.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Building A would feature 19 studios, 162 one-bedroom units, 121 two-bedroom units and 23 three-bedroom units, along with 6,100 square feet of ground-floor commercial space and 3,500 square feet of restaurant space.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Building B would tout 20 studios, 164 one-bedroom units, 127 two-bedroom units and 8 three-bedroom units. Approximately 5,600 square feet of commercial space would be found on the ground floor, opposite Building A\u2019s retail offerings.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.livabl.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Santa-Ana-pool-deck-min.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[209798]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-209803\" src=\"https:\/\/www.livabl.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Santa-Ana-pool-deck-min.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"568\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Rendering:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/ktgy.com\/\" class=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">KTGY Architecture + Planning<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Designed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.livabl.com\/architect\/ktgy-architecture--planning\">KTGY Architecture + Planning<\/a>, the contemporary residences would boast near-identical amenities, such as a leasing office, lobby and lounge area, business center, and a rooftop pool deck. Building A would offer five outdoor amenity areas serving a variety of purposes, from lawn games to alfresco dining and fireside relaxation. Building B would have four open-air courtyards, including an entertainment garden, foodie lounge and backyard.<\/p>\n<p>A resident park and paved pedestrian walkways would divide the two structures, and a dog park\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">with synthetic grass and bench seating would occupy the northwest corner of the lot. According to Waterford\u2019s website, \u201cCentral Pointe is geared towards the Millenial [sic] renter who wants to be near amenities and transit and close to the major employment nodes in Orange County.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.livabl.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Santa-Anan-outdoor-space-min.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[209798]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-209802\" src=\"https:\/\/www.livabl.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Santa-Anan-outdoor-space-min.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"568\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Rendering:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/ktgy.com\/\" class=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">KTGY Architecture + Planning<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Situated near the I-5\/CA-55 interchange, the proposed development is less than two miles from downtown Santa Ana. If approved, Central Pointe could be completed by 2025.
