A proposal<\/a> for a five-story apartment building at 1233 South Dunsmuir Avenue has been submitted to Los Angeles City Planning.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The proposal calls for 17 units \u2014 three studios, nine one-bedroom apartments, four two-bedroom apartments and one three-bedroom apartment \u2014 in addition to parking for 12 vehicles and 19 bicycles. Each unit will have its own private balcony, measuring 50 square feet.<\/p>\n Rendering:\u00a0AERO COLLECTIVE<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n Designed by local design studio, AERO COLLECTIVE, the modern black and white exterior will be clad in board form concrete, brick and metal panels, with black-framed windows and metal guardrails on the balconies.<\/p>\n The ground floor will feature a small lobby with mailboxes and parcel lockers, plus a bike storage room for added convenience. The second floor offers a gym, community room and a \u201crear yard\u201d that includes bench seating, a fire pit, barbecue area and lush landscaping.<\/p>\n Rendering:\u00a0AERO COLLECTIVE<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n David Wright, the COO of Markwood Enterprises<\/a>, a Beverly Hills-based real estate investment firm, is listed as the applicant. The developer has constructed a number of other mid-size residential projects in West LA, Larchmont and Mid-Wilshire. They are requesting Transit Oriented Communities (TOC) incentives in exchange for the inclusion of two affordable housing units.<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
