During a meeting on Thursday, May 28th,\u00a0the City of Beverly Hills Planning Division reviewed plans<\/a> for the <\/span>17,078-square-foot building. Staff recommended that a public hearing be held to discuss the project further.<\/span><\/p>\n Located at 457 North Oakhurst Drive<\/a>, the proposed condominium by Diamond Shield Investments, LLC<\/a> will feature two, two-bedroom units, three, four-bedroom units, and one, seven-bedroom unit. One of the residences will be owner-occupied, another will be reserved for a family member, and the four remaining will be sold at market rate. Each unit will have a triangular-shaped balcony facing Civic Center Drive.<\/p>\n Rendering:\u00a0Ames-Peterson<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n All residents will have access to a 2,278-square-foot, open-air rooftop space with two bathrooms. One level of subterranean parking will be provided with spaces for 21 vehicles. The project was designed by Los Angeles-based architecture firm Ames-Peterson<\/a> and boasts a modern, gray and white exterior with black-framed windows.<\/p>\n The property is currently occupied by a 3,618-square-foot, two-story duplex with a detached garage. The applicant is requesting several entitlements \u201cto facilitate development of the irregular triangular lot,\u201d including reduced street side and rear setbacks as well as the use of compact parking.<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
