Situated just a block north of The Well \u2014 another community with a major rental component \u2014 The Taylor Apartments is the latest project in a city where condominiums have dominated the housing market over the past decade. Developed by Tricon House<\/a> and MOD Developments<\/a>, The Taylor Apartments is located at 57 Spadina Avenue, just south of King Street West, on a long and narrow lot that was once home to a popular Winners store.<\/p>\n Construction on the project began in early 2018 with the demolition of the existing retail structure on the site, followed by the excavation of its four-level underground garage. By late 2019, construction had progressed past grade and today crews have begun pouring concrete for the fourth-floor footings and columns. The rest of the site consists of a maze of red heavy-duty steel and aluminum shoring frames and supports as subsequent floors are poured.<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
