Located within a quiet enclave in Mason Homes’ sought-after Parklands community, The Arbour is a limited collection of bungalow and bungalow loft townhomes currently under construction in Peterborough. Surrounded by protected woodlands, green spaces and walking trails, the development has been popular with homebuyers seeking a tranquil lifestyle away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but with easy access to urban amenities. To learn more about the community and tour two brand new model homes before they open to the public, prospective homebuyers can contact the sales office at 705 741 3676 to make an appointment.

The Arbour Condo Villas range in size from 1,068 to just over 2,200 square feet, and offer the finest in features and luxury finishes. Each home boasts bright and spacious, open-concept layouts with vaulted and nine-foot main floor ceilings. Gourmet kitchens and impressive great rooms make entertaining a breeze, and the generously-sized bedrooms feature plenty of space for families and guests.

The two models available to view include the Rose and the Sherwood. At 2,227 square feet, the Rose is ideal for young families or empty nesters. The bungalow-loft opens to a welcoming foyer with a secondary bedroom or home office, laundry room and three-piece bathroom tucked away to the side.

The entryway hall leads to the main living area, where you’ll find a large L-shaped kitchen with an island overlooking the dining room. Neutral in colour, the kitchen cabinets feature a two-tone design accented with bronze-finished hardware and fixtures.

The adjoining dining room and great room features a grand cathedral ceiling and large windows that allow for an abundance of natural light in both rooms, as well as the second-floor loft. A pair of bronze-finished crystal light fixtures anchor the space, while an optional gas fireplace adds warmth.

A modern glass staircase leads to an open loft area that can be used as a playroom, games room or rec room. The second floor also houses a third bedroom and another three-piece bathroom.

Need more space? The optional walkout basement can be finished to create a sprawling entertainment room, gym, and an extra bedroom with its own walk-in closet and bathroom.

The 1,707-square-foot Sherwood is part of the Courtyard Condo Villas Collection, and though it’s a little smaller than the Rose, it’s no less impressive. Inside, the main floor master is situated at the front of the home and features a walk-in closet and ensuite.

A wooden staircase is also located off the foyer and leads to the second-floor loft, bedroom and bathroom. Mixing traditional design with modern elegance, the staircase features open risers, glass inserts topped with solid wood railings and contemporary newel posts. It sets the stage for the rest of the home, which is styled with a warm, minimalist vibe.

The kitchen is finished with simple and clean flat-panel cabinets with contrasting black handles, and an elegant quartz backsplash. Dark wood trim surrounds and lower cabinets add warmth and are topped with matching quartz countertops. A convenient centre island provides additional prep space and features a table extension that can seat four people. The optional finished basement showcases an expansive 20-foot-by-14-foot rec room on one end, and a guest bedroom and bathroom on the other.

To learn more about The Arbour, visit Masonhomes.ca and be sure to contact the sales office to schedule a tour of the new model homes before the grand opening this spring.
