Three mixed-use projects are currently under construction, the furthest along being <\/span>Junction Santa Monica<\/span> by <\/span>Cypress Equity Investments<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Catherine Santa Monica<\/span> by <\/span>Century West Partners<\/span><\/a>. These neighboring multi-use projects will deliver residential units and ground-floor retail space to the area and are just a few minutes\u2019 walk from Downtown Santa Monica station.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Photo: Kelsey Pudloski<\/em><\/p>\n Junction Santa Monica has topped off at four stories and the windows and sliding patio doors have been installed. Scaffolding is still up as the construction crew has yet to install the exterior cladding, which will consist of board-formed concrete, reclaimed wood, sheet metal and textured glass. When completed later this year, Junction Santa Monica will offer 66 apartments in studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom layouts. Select units boast a walk-in closet in the master bedroom and all are equipped with central heating and AC as well as in-unit washers and dryers.<\/p>\n The building is pet-friendly and provides an exceptional array of onsite amenities like a resident lobby and lounge, landscaped outdoor courtyard with seating and work stations, outdoor space on the second floor with a lounge area, plus a scenic roof lounge with sun decks, barbecues and fire pits.<\/p>\n Photo: Kelsey Pudloski<\/em><\/p>\n With Phase One of Catherine Santa Monica nearly complete, work has begun on the lower levels of Phase Two and a tower crane is onsite. While Phase One saw the introduction of 89 residential units, including studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments, Phase Two will bring two more structures housing 191 apartments and 11,402 square feet of ground-floor retail space.<\/p>\n
