It&#8217;s\u00a0&#8220;back to school&#8221; time. \u00a0And, while children return to their elementary\u00a0schools, young adults across the country are moving away from home into university dormitories.<\/p>\n<p>To celebrate the move, we&#8217;ve compiled a list of the seven craziest dorm rooms. This awesome glow in the dark dorm room brings a whole new meaning to &#8220;lights out&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.livabl.com\/articles\/2012\/09\/top-seven-craziest-dorm-rooms.html\/a98304_rsz_dorm_room\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-19813\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-19813\" title=\"a98304_rsz_dorm_room\" src=\"https:\/\/www.livabl.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/a98304_rsz_dorm_room.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"299\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This dorm room has &#8220;suave&#8221; written all over it. From the purple leather couch to the nifty black divider, we think this dorm room should be renamed &#8220;the lounge&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.livabl.com\/articles\/2012\/09\/top-seven-craziest-dorm-rooms.html\/hwth5-s08-autopartyroom2_lg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-19815\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-19815\" title=\"hwth5-S08-AutoPartyRoom2_lg\" src=\"https:\/\/www.livabl.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/hwth5-S08-AutoPartyRoom2_lg.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"616\" height=\"410\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Thanks to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hgtv.com\/specialty-rooms\/crazy-college-rooms-decked-out-dorms-and-apartments\/pictures\/index.html\" class=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">HGTV <\/a>for the lead on this dorm room. At first glance, it might not look very impressive, but the room has been wired with strobe lights and\u00a0laser lights which are controlled by his computer. Better yet? The automatic blinds are controlled by a joystick.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.livabl.com\/articles\/2012\/09\/top-seven-craziest-dorm-rooms.html\/hwth5-s08-pokerden_lg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-19817\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-19817\" title=\"hwth5-S08-PokerDen_lg\" src=\"https:\/\/www.livabl.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/hwth5-S08-PokerDen_lg.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"616\" height=\"462\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A poker player&#8217;s haven, we&#8217;re willing to wager that the occupants of this dorm room are comfortable &#8220;calling each other&#8217;s bluffs&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.livabl.com\/articles\/2012\/09\/top-seven-craziest-dorm-rooms.html\/hwth5-s08-simmonshallroom_lg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-19818\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-19818\" title=\"hwth5-S08-SimmonsHallRoom_lg\" src=\"https:\/\/www.livabl.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/hwth5-S08-SimmonsHallRoom_lg.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"616\" height=\"386\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>According to HGTV, this dorm room from MIT&#8217;s Simmons Hall has amorphous walls and 18 tiny windows.
