You\u2019re instantly greeted by the sounds of a trickling stream and bees buzzing from one flower to the next. But it wasn\u2019t always this way \u2014 when she and her husband bought the house, the backyard was typical of most new-builds with a 12&#215;12-foot deck and no shade in sight. Over the years, she has transformed the backyard into a flourishing and functional space for relaxing, dining and entertaining.
