This means after three months, the cartridge can be thrown into the compost bin and will biodegrade without adding to the global plastic waste crisis. <\/span><\/p>\n Launched on crowdfunding site <\/span>Indiegogo<\/span><\/a> this month, the Bluetooth-controlled device comes with an app that will tell users when to change their cartridges. <\/span><\/p>\n According to its London-based creators, TAPP 2 features a new and improved that fits most taps and takes only 30 seconds to install. TAPP 2\u2019s filtration system uses a 100 percent coconut-based carbon block which filters over 80 contaminants, including chlorine, pesticides, lead and calcium. But TAPP 2 doesn\u2019t remove everything from tap water. Healthy minerals found in tap water, such as magnesium and iron, will not be filtered out when using the device.<\/p>\n
