architecture receives today hinges on the recent condo boom \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.livabl.com\/articles\/2016\/09\/toronto-architects-respond-book-critiquing-condo-design.html\">and it\u2019s not always favourable<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>But from internationally popular structures like the CN Tower to local favourites such as the flatiron Gooderham Building, the city is home to many long-standing architectural landmarks.<\/p>\n<p>As we\u2019ve done with Toronto destinations including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.livabl.com\/articles\/2016\/01\/torontos-cityplace-then-and-now-photo-tour.html\">CityPlace<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.livabl.com\/articles\/2016\/08\/then-and-now-st-clair-avenue-west.html\">St. Clair West<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.livabl.com\/articles\/2016\/06\/then-and-now-toronto-islands.html\">Centre Island<\/a>, we\u2019ve compared archival photos of landmarks from the City and the Toronto Public
