<\/a><\/p>\nPhoto: <\/span><\/i>Parham Taghioff \u00a9<\/span><\/i><\/a><\/p>\n With its unusual shape, sharp lines and all-white exterior, New Wave Architecture\u2019s Tehran-based project \u201cA House\/Three Views\u201d would definitely\u00a0look at home in a sci-fi movie. However, lead architects Lida Almassian and Shahin Hediari actually designed the house with something much different in mind: nature. <\/span><\/p>\n According to designboom<\/span><\/a>, the project is intended to \u201chighlight the relationship human beings have with nature and how they are tangled to natural landscapes.\u201d Its three cantilevered levels are key to that goal \u2014 by providing three different views of Tehran\u2019s landscape they allow for a better grasp of the area.<\/span><\/p>\n Rendering: <\/span><\/i>New Wave Architecture<\/span><\/i><\/a><\/p>\n Photo: <\/span><\/i>Parham Taghioff \u00a9<\/span><\/i><\/a><\/p>\n The Alborz mountain range is visible through the floor-to-ceiling windows of the level shown below, while others show the flat Mosha plain. The building\u2019s unique structure means that the ceiling of each story is the terrace of another. <\/span><\/p>\n Photo: <\/span><\/i>Parham Taghioff \u00a9<\/span><\/i><\/a><\/p>\n The 2,800-square-foot home was designed in 2009 for a private client, but was only completed this year. It\u2019s located on a slope and is intended to house a single family, with just one bedroom on the top floor. Amenities certainly aren\u2019t scarce though \u2014 the bottom floor has a pool, bar and wet\/dry sauna.
