Renting an apartment in Seattle isn’t getting any easier. According to Zumper, the median price of a one-bedroom in the month of March jumped 2.9 percent to $1,750 per month.<\/p>\n

If you’re in the market for a two-bedroom apartment, rental prices have improved \u2014 but only slightly. Two bedrooms are down a mere 0.4 percent to $2,350 per month. For the month of March, Seattle held steady as the 10th most expensive rental market in the nation behind Chicago and ahead of San Diego.<\/p>\n

Just be grateful you don’t live in San Francisco where living in a one-bedroom costs $3,590 per month, on average, while a two-bedroom is $4,850. If you’re tired of dumping your paycheck into your apartment, consider moving to Wichita, Kansas where you can rent a one-bedroom for a modest $450 per month. You could live for almost four months in Wichita on what it costs to live one month in Seattle.<\/p>\n

Although if you move to Kansas you’ll miss out on the beautiful Seattle landscape. Here’s the view from a few one-bedroom Seattle apartments currently on the market priced at around $1,750 per month.<\/p>\n
