<\/a><\/p>\nAfter building some of Markham\u2019s premier communities including Eden Park<\/a> and Majestic Court<\/a>, the Times Group<\/a> has recently launched the next phase of their latest master-planned community, Uptown Markham. Riverside Uptown Markham<\/a> marks the development\u2019s third phase consisting of two elegant eight- and 28-storey towers designed by the award-winning Kirkor Architect + Planners<\/a> team.<\/p>\n Rising above the Rouge River Valley, along Highway 7 between Warden Avenue and Birchmount Road, Riverside Uptown Markham offers prospective homebuyers an ideal location in Markham\u2019s new urban centre. Today, the 147,000 square foot facility is used as a multi-sport community centre for area residents.<\/p>\n Although Markham Centre is easily walkable from Riverside, the area is also well serviced by 15 transit routes including Viva, YRT, TTC and GO Transit via the Unionville GO station. The European-style plaza offers a wide selection of shops, supermarkets and financial institutions including Whole Foods Market, Bed Bath and Beyond, LCBO and a RBC.<\/p>\n While the neighbourhood is dotted with urban amenities, the community also features an abundance of parks including almost 50 acres of green space winding through the Rouge River Valley lands.
