<\/a><\/p>\nRendering via 200water.com<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n The newly released teaser site for Dumbo Watchtower condo conversion 200 Water Street takes the exuberant minimalist route.<\/p>\n The 1950s Brillo factory building formerly owned by the Jehovah’s Witnesses will be converted by Urban Realty Partners into 15 luxury condos. Residences will range from two-bedrooms to four-bedrooms, with pricing from $2.3 million to $5.6 million-plus, according to the teaser site. Halstead Property Development Marketing is handling sales. <\/p>\n In November 2013, the Landmarks Preservation Commission approved the design by Aufgang Architects, the Brooklyn Eagle<\/a> reported. The four-story structure will get two new glass-clad floors up top, set back from the roofline on the Water Street side to decrease visibility from the street (and make room for a patio, as shown by the rendering above). The red-brick facade on Water Street will remain mostly intact, and the rear facade will be reconstructed using concrete. <\/p>\n Shelly Listokin of Urban Realty Partners purchased 200 Water and adjacent lots 173 and 177 Front Street from DUMBO Assemblage LLC for $30.6 million, according to Department of Finance records. <\/p>\n
