Back in January, we first reported on a townhouse development<\/a> slated for a scrap metal center at South 4th Street and Wythe Avenue in Williamsburg.<\/p>\n

Now, the Townhouses of Wythe Lane<\/a> are on the market, fully loaded with renderings and floorplans on the official site.<\/p>\n

The six single-family homes were developed by KUB Capital; the architecture and interiors were crafted by KUB Design and SZ Projects. Future Green served as the landscape architect.<\/p>\n

The one townhouse on the market is Four Wythe Lane, a 3,775-square-foot four-bedroom asking $3.995 million. Two other townhouses, Nos. 5 and 6, have contracts pending. Each of the homes measures about 3,800 square feet.<\/p>\n

The development is big on green space; residents have private entry to their townhouses through a landscaped lane inspired by the traditional European mews concept. Every house faces rearward into its private garden, and exposures are largest at the leafy-sanctuary back of the home. The townhouses are made of coal-fired bricks, gunmetal gray stainless steel and exposed board-formed concrete, with signature trellises.<\/p>\n

Interiors feature open layouts, 10′ to 11′ ceilings with exposed concrete, 8′ solid wood doors, wide plank white oak flooring with a fumed chocolate finish and appliances by Sub-Zero and Wolf. Each home comes with a dedicated indoor parking space, roof terrace, rear yard and lower level media room.<\/p>\n

The project was partially inspired by Alloy Development’s Dumbo Townhouses, five 3,050-square-foot residences at Pearl and Water streets that promptly sold out after the June 2013 launch, The New York Times<\/a> reported.
