With Alberta’s economy surging and more people looking toward Calgary for housing, Vertos is a project likely to gain attention with would-be buyers.

Located in Greater Calgary, only 10 minutes from NW Calgary in the booming Town of Cochrane, Vertos is the first project in the new waterfront community of Greystone. Vertos is the first project to start construction in a new development in Cochrane. Why is this significant?
It’s always great to be able to invest in real estate projects at the ground level of an amazing new community being built.  Vertos is the first major new townhome project being developed in the new waterfront Greystone community and will be directly across from a 10 acre park space along the Bow River waterfront, a new grocery-anchored shopping centre and the Spray Lakes Family Leisure Centre, all within walking distance.

Cochrane is growing rapidly. What makes it an interesting place to live for those looking to make a change?
Cochrane is part of Greater Calgary and only 10 minutes from the highly desirable NW Calgary quadrant, close to the Tuscany/Royal Oak train station, University of Calgary, major hospitals, etc.  Within the high-growth province of Alberta, Cochrane is currently the No. 1 fastest growing municipality in Alberta.

There’s a sports centre nearby already, but what else is being developed in the area that residents can expect to see over the next couple of years?
Yes, in addition to the Spray Lakes Sports Centre there will be a brand-new shopping centre, grocery stores, new commercial developments by Ocgrow Group coming soon, new children’s playgrounds, and waterfront biking trails/pathways and more than 10 acres of new park space at your doorstep.

What sort of buyer do you think will be most interested in these homes?
Vertos shall be attractive for young families, the seniors’ market, single professionals, and prudent investors with all the growth coming to this beautiful new waterfront community of Greystone.

What are the features you get most excited about when telling people about the project?
Amazing views from the rooftop private decks, waterfront living in a new community, the luxury finishes of townhomes, the wonderful outdoor amenities and proximity to world-famous Banff National Park and having the Rocky mountains so close at your doorstep.

What are the benefits of a higher density project in an area such as Cochrane?
The benefits are the new urban vibrancy and having all the convenient lifestyle features within walking distance from these new luxury townhomes and having them so close by makes Vertos so attractive.  It’s amazing to be able to live only steps from the waterfront, at such an affordable price for new families in this fabulous new community.
