The Torkian Group has launched leasing at swanky Solari in Midtown, with four units hitting the market yesterday.

Solari is located at 42 West 33rd Street, a stone’s throw from the shadow of the Empire State Building. It stands 41 stories with 223 apartments spread over 182,000 square feet of residential space.

The building features a glass facade, a masonry base, and angled western wall that allows for impressive cityscape views.

Solari’s thoroughly modern interiors and amenities were designed by Andi Pepper, and include a rooftop lounge with fireplace, an outdoor theatre and a swimming pool.

All apartments feature 10- to 12-foot ceiling heights, floor-to-ceiling windows and open floorplans.

Two studio apartments and a pair of one-bedroom, one-bath units are currently available.

Midtown Manhattan continues to see a plethora of new construction, particularly in the high-end luxury for sale submarket.

The area is a hotbed of development activity given its prime central location, vast dining and entertaining opportunities, convenient access to mass transit hubs at Grand Central and Port Authority, and quick commutes to Downtown and Wall Street.

Pricing for available units ranges from $2,950 for a studio and up to $4,980 for a one-bedroom.
