Kitchens, just like every other room in our homes, are susceptible to changing design trends. One year it’s all about poured concrete countertops and the next it’s leather drawer pulls. But kitchen remodels are an expensive undertaking, costing anywhere from $15,000 to well over $30,000 — sometimes it’s best to keep it classic with a design that will stand the test of time.

Interior decorator Kendra Bester considered the timelessness of every element in her clients’ kitchen remodel, right down to the hardware. What was once a dated 80s kitchen with oak cabinets and unsightly tile flooring is now a bright, all-white space with functional features for a modern family.
