M City condoRogers Real Estate Development and Urban Capital are debuting M5 in Mississauga. The latest tower will be the fifth installment in the M City collection.

The Mississauga master-planned community has surpassed 3,450 total suite sales since its launch in 2017. The first three towers – M1, M2 and M3 – are all completely sold out, with M4 closing in on the same milestone.

Designed by the renowned architectural firm IBI Group, M5 will be located directly west of M Park in M City. It will measure 36 storeys with 430 suites. On the ground floor, there will be a pedestrian-first, shared street, providing a convenient connection from the building to its surroundings. New retail space will feature floor-to-ceiling windows, offering impressive views of the outdoors.

M5 will feature units ranging from 450 to over 1,000 square feet. Floor plans will include studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom options. Suites are available starting from the $600,000s.

With a focus on well-being, interior design firm Cecconi Simone concentrated on a connection to nature and synchronizing with the outdoors throughout the interior spaces and amenities of M5. The building draws from Japanese influences with interiors that celebrate clean lines and a multi-faceted approach to materials, lighting and design elements.

M5 is markedly different from the other phases [in M City] — it is smaller and quieter in its architectural expression, so a new approach to the interiors and amenities was crucial for this phase,” said Elaine Cecconi, founding partner of Cecconi Simone.

M5 offers many spa-inspired amenities for its residents, with the goal of providing self-care following over two years of lockdowns due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There will be areas for meditation, a Hammam steam bath, individual infrared saunas, a massage room and a Zen lounge. In addition, residents will have access to essential amenities such as a lounge, dining room, media room, gym and a kids’ playroom.
