Fans of elegant, modern towers of glass take note: Toronto is soon to add two on Yonge Street south of 16th Avenue in the heart of Richmond Hill. The towers will be known as Grand Genesis, and they’re the creation of Guizzetti Developments Inc. and Holborn Developments Inc. So far we’re hearing exquisite interior design, high-end designer finishes, graciously sized suites and serious five-star amenities at this increasingly-anticipated condominium.

Like what, you ask? Word is, a gracious swimming pool and adjoining hot tub will flow out to a charming terrace. The upbeat party room will feature a wet bar, fireplace and big-screen television, and the private dining room will include full catering facilities. Fitness facilities will also exist aplenty, including a state-of-the-art fitness studio, aerobics centre and yoga retreat – all with wall-mounted televisions to help the workout seem like a little less work!
The business centre available to residents will include complimentary Internet and printing. It seems even the theatre room has been thought through to the very last detail: a microwave and fridge will ensure that the popcorn is served hot and the beverages enjoyed cold.
Within the suites themselves, walls of glass will open up the space with floor-to-ceiling windows that will look onto the lovely views of Richmond Hill. High-end designer finishes will be everywhere and include an innovative Fisher & Paykel refrigerator and the latest Kohler fixtures. And while the overall vision is decidedly contemporary, the final stylistic touches can be customized with unique design packages that allow future residents to personalize their space and craft focal points that are completely their own. Good thinkin’!

Finally, we hear Grand Genesis will be constructed with the latest green innovations in the hopes of receiving a prestigious Gold Certification in the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System. The condo will apparently be constructed with an abundance of environmentally friendly practices including water-saving measures, the inclusion of environmentally friendly building materials, and multiple innovations for improved indoor air quality and energy reduction – all which in turn make end users happy, happy residents!

At Grand Genesis, suites range in size from 477 square feet to 2,010 square feet and prices start in the mid-$200,000s. Register at their website to learn more and as always, check back soon for the latest buzzz. .
