After re-listing his Yorkville condo for $3.895 million, Drake – hip hop star, Desgrassi alum, and Toronto-loving local– sold his home for a cool $3.75 million (Tweet this fact).

We originally broke the news of the for sale sign back in June, when the 3,600-square foot condo was on the market for $4.195 million. However, this wasn’t Drake’s first adventure in high-end real estate. Back in 2012, he sold his two side-by-side Miami apartments for $2.5 million, just 24 hours after listing them (not bad considering he originally bought the pair for a combined $1.9 million in 2011).
It doesn’t seem like the Grammy award winner was aiming to flip his Toronto condo like his Florida properties since it had a starring roll in a ustream video back in 2010.
Given his roots in Forest Hill and his unabashed pride in the city, we can’t wait to see what neighbourhood or property he picks next. Perhaps somewhere closer to the Air Canada Centre? Wherever he goes, we hope he lets us know where he got that awesome bookcase shaped like a map of Canada.
