The corner of Pharmacy Avenue and Huntingdale Boulevard could soon see a new residential addition thanks to a recently proposed development project.

The developer is hosting an official groundbreaking and offering $30,000 in buyer incentives this weekend.

The project by Nascent Developments is situated in an area that’s in the midst of a transformation.

A proposal for a mid-rise residential community on the eastern perimeter of Scarborough’s Golden Mile neighbourhood has been submitted to city planners for the second time.

The project features a variety of layouts ranging in size from 473 to 1,290 square feet, including a unique collection of Live/Work units.

Although residential construction was deemed essential by the provincial government at the early stages of its pandemic response, builders were only able to move forward on residential projects that were already near completion before restrictions were loosened in May.
