Legacy on Dunbar is under construction and will be completed next year. This Qualex-Landmark development is located at 3596 West 28th Avenue in Vancouver, within the neighbourhood of Dunbar. Legacy on Dunbar consists of 48 two- and three-bedroom homes, with sizes ranging from 983 to 1,248 square feet. The building rises to five storeys and includes penthouses on the top level.

Livabl spoke to Jordan Beach, the vice-president of sales and marketing for Qualex-Landmark about Legacy on Dunbar’s progression and some of its key features.

Legacy is slated for completion in 2023. Are you still on target and how has the construction been progressing?

We are on target and excited for homeowners to move in Summer of 2023. Construction has been progressing swiftly with structure complete and interior framing done.

Did Legacy encounter any delays due to COVID-19 supply shortages and if so, how did you overcome them?

We only experienced very minor delays during COVID-19. We are fortunate to work with our trusted construction partner Axiom Builders, a leader when it comes to quality and qualified trades.

 How many units are still available for sale? Are you running any promotions?

We currently have fifteen large format two-bedroom homes available of 48 total units. Homeowners have the benefit of no strata fees for the first three years, and a shopping credit to Inform Interiors to compliment their new home

Legacy’s bathrooms are described as “opulent” and were featured in Western Magazine’s ”10 bathrooms we love” story. What makes these bathrooms so special? 

Legacy’s ensuites were designed to make a both make a statement and to provide a way for owners to unwind in luxury. Upon arrival, you are greeted by double glass entry doors leading you into a spa inspired bathroom with heated limestone floor, floating vanities with LED under lighting, a frameless shower and private lavatory with a wall hung toilet. Anchoring the space is a gorgeous full slab stone feature wall and free-standing bathtub.

What makes Legacy’s amenities unique?

What kind of buyer would be interested in Legacy?

Most of our downsizing homeowners come from Point Grey, Dunbar, and Kerrisdale, while some of our younger families, taking advantage of St. George’s and Lord Kitchener just down the street, originate from Richmond, West Vancouver and international cities.
