A rendering of the outside of Artesia Metrotown in Burnaby

Artesia Metrotown is a 31-storey tower under construction with an estimated completion date of September 2025. This Burnaby condominium by Qualex-Landmark will contain 247 homes with sizes ranging from 412 to 1,218 square feet.

Livabl spoke with Jordan Beach, the vice president of sales and marketing for Qualex-Landmark about Artesia’s appealing location within Metrotown, the type of buyer that would be right for the community, purchase incentives, and Qualex-Landmark’s commitment to quality.

Where is Artesia located? Why did you choose this location to develop?

Located on the quieter side of Metrotown, Artesia is in the heart of Metrotown steps from transit, shopping, and great restaurants. Qualex-Landmark has consistently selected sites based on livability and the community. Most prominent is Artesia’s endless and protected views which start on the lowest levels – a true rarity for Metrotown.

What type of buyer would be right for Artesia?

Artesia is ideal for those who value convenience but seek a sense of reprieve and serenity within an urban setting. Those who have purchased a home at Artesia also appreciate that Artesia has the largest amount of amenity space in Metrotown per unit. For families and downsizers, the community offers endless opportunities.

How will this project fit in with what already exists in the area?

Artesia will add 247 homes to a burgeoning city. Inspired by the location’s low density and protected environment, a rarity for Metrotown, award-winning Ramsay Worden Architects’ approach to smart urban is masterfully executed. Artesia’s classic palette, natural presence, and timeless appeal are a nod to the dynamic surroundings of the neighbourhood. Public art and a large water feature will enhance the visibility of the neighbourhood for all.

Are you offering any incentives for homebuyers?

Current incentives (valid until November 30th) include a parking stall and storage locker for all one- and two-bedroom homes, a $1,000 flat assignment fee, and home credits up to $20,000.

Are there any modern home features you’d like to highlight?

Influenced by the naturalistic elements of Artesia’s architecture, award-winning interior design group BYU utilized elemental tones and organic textures to achieve a home that feels grounded in nature. Residences were designed to fit any lifestyle, maximize space, invite an abundance of natural light, and offer panoramic protected outlooks.
