A focus on sustainability
Being the winner of the Green Builder of the Year at the DRHBA Awards of Excellence and a finalist for Green Builder of the Year at the BILD Awards serves as a huge testament to Brookfield Residential’s commitment to sustainable practices.
The company’s focus on consumer education (including its ‘myEnergy’ brand), environmentally friendly building designs, sustainable construction techniques and waste management strategies have established Brookfield Residential as an industry leader in green homebuilding. From the early stages of land acquisition and development all the way down to the materials used in the construction process, sustainability remains a focus at every step of Brookfield Residential’s homebuilding process.
Providing a customer-focused experience
One of Brookfield Residential’s core goals is to continuously improve all aspects of the customer experience. From its building practices to customer care, the homebuilder is constantly introducing innovative solutions and practices that strive to empower homeowners at every stage of the process.
Technology is often at the forefront of the Brookfield Residential customer experience, enriching the human aspect provided by members of the customer care team. The builder’s myConcierge service connects homebuyers with a dedicated service representative who oversees their experience once they’ve purchased their home. On the digital side, residents can access on-demand home tours digitally with the myTime service and stay updated on their home’s construction process through the Brookfield Residential app.
Connectivity is felt through every stage of the homebuying process. Brookfield Residential is proud to celebrate all homeowners’ milestones through community events to help residents meet their neighbours, closing day celebrations for new homeowners and meet-your-builder meetings where homeowners come face-to-face with the team who built their home.
Durham’s Community of the Year – Winding Trail
Brookfield Residential’s Winding Trail community in Uxbridge, Ontario was the proud recipient of the DRHBA Community of the Year Award.
Located right between Wooden Sticks Golf Course and local protected greenspace, this exclusive collection of 39 bungalow townhomes was born from a vision of a tranquil getaway for retirees, downsizers and empty nesters.
Featuring generous 36’ frontages, carefully designed streetscapes and year-round views of the fairway and surrounding forest, homes in Winding Trail don’t feel like townhomes. Rather, this master-planned community was designed to give residents a sense of wide, detached homes and vast open space.
Looking toward the future, Brookfield Residential plans to continue their mission of building what they call ‘The best places to call home.’ The builder is currently working on the development of Station No. 3, a new boutique condo community coming soon to downtown Whitby, as well as a series of master-planned developments inside and around the Greater Toronto Area.
