Danforth Village condoThe Dawes is coming soon to Danforth Village. This latest development from Marlin Spring will be a two-tower condominium, containing 631 suites. The South Tower will be 38 storeys, while the North Tower will be 24 storeys. The two towers will be connected by a podium at the six-storey level.

The Dawes will contain many amenities, with over 27,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space dedicated to residents’ needs, These amenities will be spread out over the first, third, fourth, fifth and seventh floors.

Homeowners can take advantage of a two-storey fitness studio, with dedicated spaces for weights, machines, spin, yoga and boxing. There will be an art/maker studio, pet wash, meeting room for collaborating on work projects, a co-working lounge, a library lounge for relaxing, screening room, indoor dining area, indoor kids’ area, as well as a social lounge and gaming room for getting together with friends and family.

Outdoors, residents will find dining areas, an additional kids’ play area, BBQ and a lounge to make the most of the warmer weather.

Danforth Village is an evolving community with many conveniences located in the neighbourhood. The building will have a walk score of 96, a transit score of 95 and a bike score of 91. The Dawes will be only a few minutes from the Pape Station upon completion of the Ontario Subway Line. This project, due to be completed by 2027, will be a full 15.6-kilometre line with a total of 15 stops including Danforth and Pape which is only five stops from The Dawes (Main Station).

It’s a seven-minute walk to the Main TTC station from The Dawes and an eight-minute walk to the Danforth GO station. For residents traveling by car, it’s 13 and 16 minutes to the Don Valley Parkway and 401 respectively.

Plenty of green spaces are less than a 10-minute walk from The Dawes. Parks such as Goodwood, Coleman, Maryland, Taylor Creek and Dentonia are all nearby.

Shoppers World, which contains a Metro, Lowes, Staples and Shoppers Drug Mart, is only two minutes by car. There’s also a Sobeys only a six-minute walk from the building.
