South Granville is one of Vancouver’s most appealing neighbourhoods. It’s a vibrant area, filled with some of the best art venues, shopping and food options in the city.

This community is home to the KiND Development Group’s Hudson 8 – eight exclusive residences, set to complete in Summer 2022, that fuse the historical and modern in an innovative way.
The development is based around a re-imagined heritage home, displaying Vancouver’s classic architectural charm, as well as chic townhomes with clean lines and stylish construction. The community comprises 5 multi-level townhomes, a duplex, and a very special single-level garden home, all offering unique characteristics, plenty of outdoor living space and a modern, streamlined aesthetic within. AMA Architects and Evoke Design Group are collaborating on the project, with the latter winning the award for Interior Designer of the Year from Western Living Magazine in 2019.

The interiors of the homes are bright and airy. Minimalist touches are evident throughout, with neutral colours used, integrated appliances and waterfall countertops. Luxurious details such as wide-plank flooring and in-floor radiant heating are included.

Spaces like the kitchen have been thoughtfully considered. Quartz countertops and matching backsplashes are a notable feature, along with full-height flat panel cabinetry for better storage options.

Recessed LED under cabinet lighting adds that extra bit of appeal and functionality.

Ensuite bathrooms have been given similar care. They will contain floating vanities, mirrors with integrated lighting, stone floor tiling, and frameless glass showers.

The townhomes come with three bedrooms, at least two bathrooms and private garage parking. Sizes range from 1,430 to 1,534 square feet. Heritage homes range from 1,316 to 1,978 square feet and contain three bedrooms, as many as 3.5 bathrooms for select floor plans, and all homes include private garage parking.

Located at W 57th and Hudson Street, the community is situated near some of the best schools in the area. David Lloyd George, Sir Wilfrid Laurier Elementary, and Sir Winston Churchill Secondary are all within walking distance. York House, Crofton House and St. George’s School are also a short driving distance away.

The area is also surrounded by recreational space, including Langara golf course, VanDusen botanical gardens, Cambie Park, and the tennis courts at Wilfred Laurier.

Registration is now open for Hudson 8. For more information on the residences, email info@hudson8.com or call 604-332-1838.
