Bad news first: Toronto didn’t make PCMag’s list of the best places to work remotely this year.

The good news? There’s plenty of new condos coming soon to the city that might convince you otherwise.

Using data from Ookla Speedtest, BestPlaces.net and BroadbandNow, the online publication curated a list of the 60 best work-from-home cities in 2021 from across Canada and the United States. The collection of towns, cities and suburbs were determined by affordable housing options, reasonably-priced internet connections and remote-work-friendly lifestyles, as well as their median home price under $500,000.

Toronto — along with San Francisco, New York and Vancouver — did not make the cut.

These days, Toronto condo developers are trying to make their projects more accommodating for those working from home through the inclusion of amenities like co-working lounges, conference rooms and study areas.

With the help of new home listing data sourced from BuzzBuzzHome, we’ve compiled a collection of five new condo developments with work-from-home facilities that will be completed within the coming months.
