Arte Residences is a new 18-storey condominium coming soon to 89 Dundas Street West, just south of Square One Shopping Centre in downtown Mississauga. The 427-suite development by EMBLEM follows the sales success of the developer’s 1 Jarvis project in Hamilton, which sold out in 48 hours.

Sales at Arte are expected to start later this summer and prospective homebuyers can register online for the latest updates and to gain priority status. EMBLEM’s newest project represents its dedication to great design as the developer has collaborated with globally-renowned artist Daniel Mazzone in the creation of Arte Residences.

Referred to as the next Andy Warhol, Mazzone is a key artist in the annual Art Basel art show in Miami, Florida and his work has been featured in 1 Hotel and W Hotel properties. The artist worked with EMBLEM to develop the layouts, lobby and amenity spaces at Arte.

“Daniel is not only well respected on the global stage but he also embodies EMBLEM’s approach to design,” said Kash Pashootan, Chief Executive Officer at EMBLEM. “His work is creative, iconic and modern, while also expressing a timeless and classic aura. When design is old and new at the same time, and it feels natural, that is the definition of ‘timeless’ and that is our thinking at EMBLEM.”

EMBLEM has taken a similar approach with the development of Arte. Residents will live surrounded by beauty in a welcoming community with sleek amenities, spacious residential suites, and a coveted location just minutes from Square One and 300 metres from the new Hurontario LRT, currently under construction.

“We look for development sites that are opportunistic and poised for meaningful price appreciation, then combine it with exceptional design,” said Pashootan. “This is the formula that we have built our reputation on.”

As part of its growth plan, the Dundas corridor is expected to welcome 52,000 new residents and 9,600 new jobs. Anchoring its rapid growth are the amenities that make a city truly livable: more parks, greenspaces, public art and public transit infrastructure.

Within the development, residents will have access to over 22,725 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenity space. These include indoor and outdoor co-working lounges, fitness areas and dining rooms with green walls for privacy. There’s also a rooftop bar and lounge that provides the perfect spot to wind down or celebrate a special occasion with friends and family, all while enjoying sweeping views of the neighbourhood.

“Whether one is buying for their future home or buying as an investment, the combination of location, proximity to transit, collaboration with Mazzone, building design and suite layouts make this a highly desirable project,” said Shamil Jiwani, Director of Real Estate at EMBLEM.
