The Linden recently unveiled two new model homes, complete with photos and virtual tours of each expertly-staged residence. While construction is ongoing, with occupancy scheduled for this spring, the sales team couldn’t wait to give prospective buyers a sneak preview of these two-bedroom, two-bathroom homes. Last month, Livabl covered Residence 422, The Linden’s future sales office, and a coveted corner home with the only floorplan of its kind. This time around, we’re focusing on the two newest model homes, residences 415 and 402, showcasing two different designer finish packages.

Greg Samoulides of Embellish Home Staging recently finalized the décor of all three model homes and we asked him to share his thoughts on The Linden and its new model residences:

“I was amazed at how vibrant the neighborhood is surrounding The Linden. I live in San Francisco and I feel that shops and restaurants on Grand Avenue rival some of the best streets in San Francisco — there are a lot of great places to eat here! The second thing that stands out for me is the quality of the materials and the dedication of the developer to ensure this property is built right. Several times during our model installation I observed the construction team refining their efforts to ensure a high level of quality in the homes. It was impressive.”

“Models 415 and 402 have very similar floor plans (reversed). Our challenge was to give them a different, yet complementary look. Model 402 is a more classic/sophisticated-looking home with ‘richer’ fabrics and textures. In designing this model home we thought of a buyer who perhaps has a family or is old enough to remember The Beatles, while Model 415 features a contemporary design, which may appeal to a first-time buyer. One of the things I like the most is the generous size of the second bedroom. It gives homeowners the flexibility to use this room as either a guest bedroom or an office. And If they choose, they can do both by installing a desk and a sleeper sofa. We added beds to both of the second bedrooms to demonstrate the size of the space, but there are a ton of possible configurations. Both homes have a great flow. You can create a really comfortable home here.”

Residence 415 is an airy two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo spanning 1,089 square feet. Featuring the Spruce finish package, the home is appointed with Silestone ‘Miami White’ quartz countertops, a full-height, Daltile ‘Color Wheel’ herringbone backsplash, and Lanz ‘Summer Breeze’ light woodgrain base cabinets accompanied by white, high-gloss uppers.

Stepping inside, you’re greeted by a U-shaped kitchen with under-cabinet lighting and an elongated peninsula that offers breakfast bar seating. The open-plan living and dining area is filled with natural light thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows and a glass door that leads to a sizeable balcony. The two bedrooms are located on opposite sides of the home for added privacy, each boasting an ensuite bathroom and a pass-through closet.

Residence 402 boasts a slightly larger footprint at 1,100 square feet. This two-bedroom, two-bathroom home adheres to the Eucalyptus finish package, lending a contemporary edge with Silestone ‘Gris Expo’ quartz counters, a full-height, Emser Tile ‘Motif’ backsplash in taupe, and Lanz white matte cabinets throughout.

The entryway opens onto a U-shaped kitchen, which touts a stacked tile backsplash and barely-there cabinet hardware for a minimalist aesthetic. The floorplan is quite similar to the previous model home, with the bedrooms on either side, but offers a different orientation.

The sleeping quarters sport ensuite bathrooms and pass-through closets with convenient built-ins. Guests will also be able to access the secondary bedroom’s ensuite via a separate door off the living room. There’s a covered balcony with enough space for a bistro table or a pair of lounge chairs, and a tucked-away laundry closet to accommodate stacked machines.

Future residents of The Linden will enjoy an array of onsite amenities, including a landscaped courtyard, community clubhouse, and an eighth-floor sky lounge and terrace. Among the building’s day-to-day conveniences are a bike parking and repair station with an EV bike charging outlet, a designer lobby equipped with a Butterfly MX smart video touchscreen entry system, secure package lockers and storage units. Each home comes with one garage parking space and optional EV stations are available.

The Linden is located in the heart of downtown South San Francisco, on Linden Avenue near the corner of Grand Avenue. This burgeoning neighborhood is dotted with restaurants and specialty shops, and provides easy access to Highway 101 and the new and improved Caltrain Station.

The Linden is now selling and on track for completion this spring. Contact the sales team today for the latest availability.
