Savile on the Roe is a boutique development coming soon to 413 Roehampton Avenue in Midtown’s Mount Pleasant neighbourhood. The project by Block Developments and Tiffany Park Homes consists of an exclusive collection of 28 luxury residences with expansive outdoor space, all within a coveted Midtown location. Sales are anticipated to launch early in 2021 but prospective homebuyers can register online now for the latest updates and to gain priority status.

Envisioned by RAW Design, Savile on the Roe boasts elegant architecture inspired by the grand brownstones of New York City and the Back Bay of Boston. Classic brickwork mimics the heritage buildings within the surrounding neighbourhood while charcoal metal panels and accents add modern drama.

“We want to create a very livable and convenient environment that still reflects the character of the family homes in the area from which many of our residents will originate,” said Roland Rom Colthoff, lead architect at RAW Design. “The materials and colour palette proposed are intended to complement its neighbours, while the proportion of windows and doors is reminiscent of the vernacular of the area.”

Inspired by London’s iconic Savile Row — synonymous with high-end bespoke tailoring since the late 18th century — Savile on the Roe presents an exquisitely crafted bespoke lifestyle.

“Referencing the term ‘bespoke,’ it means thoughtfully designed, highly personal,” said Colthoff. “The entry sequence from the steps to the door handle are intended to convey a sense of individual exclusivity and comfort, while luxury is expressed in the experience of space, natural light and direct connections to the outdoors.”

Priced from $1,199,000, the suites at Savile on the Roe feature sophisticated interiors designed by Tomas Pearce Interior Design. The open-concept living spaces evoke a modern take on Old World elegance with grand circular staircases, custom-stained hardwood floors, beautiful marbles, fine metals and elegant mouldings.

“We designed an offset fireplace, for example, that speaks to the past yet is designed for a contemporary audience,” said Melandro Quilatan, Principal Partner at Tomas Pearce Interior Design. “We streamlined panel mouldings and cleaned up traditional wall details so that they retain elegance and reflect a new aesthetic for today’s modern interiors.”

Available units range from 920 to 2,432 square feet and select layouts boast private rooftop terraces, front patios, large backyards and optional in-suite elevators. Standard finishes include nine-foot plus ceilings, custom cabinetry, quartz countertops and panelled appliances in the kitchen.

Prospective buyers are invited to choose from the Avenue, Terrace and Garden collections. The Avenue Collection is comprised of walk-up units on the north side of the building featuring their own private patios, while units in the Terrace Collection are situated on the third and fourth floor and come complete with private rooftop terraces. Those with a green thumb will appreciate the oversized backyards — up to 80 feet deep — in the Garden Collection.

Located within proximity to the vibrant Yonge and Eglinton area, residents of Savile on the Roe will enjoy its central location dotted with local amenities, schools, libraries and public transit.

A world of flavours are at your doorstep with gourmet restaurants and charming cafes nearby. Or, indulge in endless shopping opportunities from designer clothing boutiques to chic furniture and home decor shops. Residents will also be minutes away from the Yonge Eglinton Centre, home to a variety of fashion, beauty and sporting goods stores, in addition to a Cineplex Cinema, Metro and an LCBO.
