Reunion Crossing is a new condo and townhome development located along the St. Clair streetcar line at the crossroads of the Stockyards, Junction and Corso Italia neighborhoods. The development by Diamond Kilmer Developments is already under construction and occupancy is tentatively scheduled for fall 2022.
Construction on the project officially kicked off last year when a groundbreaking ceremony was held in June. Attendees included executives from Diamond Kilmer Developments and Ralph Giannone, Principal at Giannone Petricone Associates, who designed the buildings. The event was originally planned for spring 2020 but was postponed due to the pandemic.
Construction continued on schedule for the rest of the year as workers moved into the excavation and shoring phase. Another major milestone was celebrated recently when the tower crane arrived on site and was installed in early January. With the crane up, it shouldn’t be long before crews start working their way up towards grade-level and beyond.
When completed, Reunion Crossing Condos & Urban Towns will consist of modern condo suites and spacious urban townhomes with open-concept floorplans and outdoor terraces.
The interiors are by Patton Design Studio and feature contemporary finishes and sleek amenity spaces. Amenities include a lobby with workspaces and lounge seating, a landscaped courtyard with barbecues and dining spaces, and a state-of-the-art fitness centre with TRX training equipment. Other amenities include an outdoor kids’ play section and a unique Urban Garage that comes complete with a bike repair station, workbench and a kids’ crafting area.
