Real estate developers will go to extraordinary lengths to make a sale. From attention-grabbing marketing campaigns like the million-dollar t-shirts that came with “free” Diesel-branded condominiums to an open house roller coaster that whisked house hunters through a five-bedroom residence in the Netherlands, we’ve covered just about every gimmick there is.

Pendry Residences West Hollywood is the latest development to attempt to woo buyers with an over-the-top sales incentive. The purchaser of the luxury residence’s $16 million two-story penthouse will receive a year-long lease on a McLaren 765LT supercar.

The penthouse comes with a 1,719-square-foot showroom that can accommodate five vehicles and is accessed by a private elevator. The purchaser will also receive $400,000 in design upgrades to customize the space to their liking.

“Los Angeles residents are passionate about their cars and our Super Garage offers one discerning owner the opportunity to house their most prized vehicles in a space that is as luxurious as the Residence itself,” said Tina Necrason, Executive Vice President, Residential, Montage International, in a statement.

The 765LT is so-called because there were only 765 models made in 2020, all of which have since sold out. Pricing for the supercar starts at $358,000 and it can reach speeds of up to 205 miles per hour.

Pendry’s Terrace Estate 803 is a three-bedroom, three-bathroom floorplan featuring 2,188 square feet of private outdoor space. The first floor of the penthouse includes a chef-caliber kitchen with an oversized island and a great room with retractable glass walls that extend to a sprawling terrace.

The secondary bedrooms each come with an ensuite bathroom and the sumptuous master suite boasts a Poliform walk-in closet, soaking tub and frameless glass shower. Ascend the stairs or hop on the private elevator to access the expansive upper level, complete with an indoor lounge, full outdoor kitchen, fire pit and hot tub. This urban oasis offers sweeping views of the Hollywood Hills and DTLA.

A collection of only 40 bespoke residences, the Pendry is now selling on a limited inventory release with completion slated for early 2021. Residents will enjoy access to exclusive amenities, including a rooftop pool deck, wine tasting room, garden deck, private fitness center, board room, owner’s lounge with an honor bar, and dedicated elevators.

They will also be able to take full advantage of the neighboring hotel’s extensive amenity offerings, which range from Wolfgang Puck-branded restaurants to a live entertainment and performance venue.
