On Wednesday, August 12th, developer Sightline Properties celebrated the official groundbreaking of their latest project, Just West. This modern collection of one-, two- and three-bedroom townhomes and garden suites launched sales to the public in February. Construction is now underway with an estimated completion date of Fall 2021.
The event was attended by members of the development and construction team, and Vancouver City Councillor Rebecca Bligh. Despite the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, construction on the project has not been delayed and sales have remained strong.

“We’ve done a number of deals in the past two weeks and are really starting to see the interest that was so palpable in early March,” said Jamie Vaughan, director and owner of Sightline Properties.
“At the end of the day, people realize the value they are getting when purchasing at Just West and now that things have settled down, we anticipate the marketing staying strong well into fall.”
Just West offers thoughtfully designed floorplans, complete with open-concept layouts, ample natural light, modern finishes and private outdoor space. Priced from $799,900, these spacious, family homes tout nine-foot main floor ceilings, wide-plank engineered hardwood floors in all living spaces and bedrooms, oversized, double-glazed windows, and individual temperature-controlled heating and air-conditioning for year-round comfort.

Just West promotes a tight-knit, community feel with its central courtyard amenity space, including an outdoor movie screen, fire pit, barbecue, shaded lounge area and harvest-style dining table. Families with young children will appreciate the sandy play area and open, grassy lawn. The development also offers secured underground storage lockers and bike lockers in addition to electronic vehicle charging rough-ins for all parking stalls.
With lively Cambie Village to the west and trend-setting Main Street to the east, Just West offers a well-connected locale that’s only three blocks away from the Canada Line. “Everything you need is right here,” added Vaughan.
On top of that, Just West is one of the first new construction residential projects in Phase Three of the 30-year Cambie Corridor redevelopment plan, which seeks to more than double the population, add over 30,000 new homes, plus new parks, community facilities and improved public transit.
