Near Canal Street and Navigation Boulevard, Houston-based Triten Real Estate Partners has proposed the development of a new rental building. According to reporting by the Houston Chronicle, the community would include a combination of office, restaurant, retail and multi-family residential space spread across a number of buildings on the six-acre site.
A portion of an existing 1950s warehouse would also be incorporated into the project, along with an interior courtyard. Michael Hsu Office of Architecture would oversee the design.

Earlier this month, national developer and builder Mill Creek Residential broke ground on its luxury 341-unit apartment complex on Washington Avenue. When complete, the mid-rise community will cater a range of lifestyle, fitness and convenience amenities, including a yoga studio, dog run and pool deck. A co-working space with a unique coffee shop will also be offered on-site.
According to Mill Creek Residential, the apartment interiors will showcase wood-plank flooring, nine-foot ceilings and kitchens kitted out with stainless steel appliances.

In the central business district, Fairfield Residential is preparing a new rental development near Main and Jefferson streets. While the developer hasn’t divulged much information about the community on their online list of ‘coming soon’ projects, 1810 Main would place future residents right near the heart of downtown Houston.
Within a few minutes’ walk, tenants will find a number of restaurants, bars, public transportation stops and urban parks. For the commuter, 1810 Main would also sit near I-69 and I-45 for convenient transit across the city and beyond.
