Things are looking up at the site of 2900 Wilshire, a large-scale residential development by Hankey Investment Capital and Jamison Services. Construction of the 25-story tower has surpassed the halfway point and the abutting podium, which will contain parking and resident amenities, has topped off. The project broke ground in February 2019 and is expected to be completed early next year.
2900 Wilshire will feature 644 apartments, 15,00 square feet of ground-floor retail, 1,100 parking spaces and more than an acre of outdoor space. Floorplans will consist of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom residences with prices ranging from $2,000 to $10,000 per month.
Future residents will enjoy access to a swimming pool, clubhouse, fitness center, dog park and more, divided between the seventh and rooftop levels. The curvilinear shape of the tower, designed by Large Architecture, is intended to prevent shadows from falling on the adjacent Lafayette Park.
Located at the corner of Wilshire Boulevard and Hoover Street, the development is a short walk from the Wilshire/Vermont subway station, endless cafes and restaurants, and Koreatown’s beloved Wi Spa. DTLA is easily accessible, and hip neighborhoods like Silver Lake and Echo Park are just a quick car ride away.
