Buying a new construction home or condo has many benefits, from being able to choose colour palettes and finishes, to knowing that major structural defects are covered under your new home warranty. However, a challenge for many homebuyers is the wait that’s required for their new home or condo to be built. Construction can take anywhere from one year for a low-rise home in the suburbs to several years for a downtown high-rise.

Fortunately, many developers offer quick occupancy suites that can be purchased and moved into right away. This eliminates the long wait time and the risk of having two mortgages. And, in many cases, you’ll still have the option to customize features and finishes. If you’re interested in a new construction condo in downtown Toronto without the wait, here are seven developments with move-in ready suites.
