Casa Di Torrre is an eight-storey midrise condominium coming soon to Stoney Creek in Hamilton. The development by Branthaven and Marz Homes marked a major milestone recently as the project officially broke ground on March 6th. Teams from both developers came together on a snowy morning, with shovels in hand, at the site of the project to celebrate the occasion.

“We are very excited to be able to bring this type of luxury condo to the community of Stoney Creek,” said Steve Stipsits, President of Branthaven. “Casa Di Torre is an ideal example of the type of smart growth and quality housing choice that new home buyers are looking for.”

Priced from $429,990, Casa Di Torre offers exceptional value with hotel-inspired amenities, upgraded features and finishes, and a location dotted with local amenities.

“As young professionals get forced out of the high-priced GTA condo market and area Baby Boomers continue to downsize, boutique buildings like Casa Di Torre are not just smart growth communities for cities, but a smart investment in the lives of its citizens,” said Stipsits. “The building is more than 75 percent pre-sold and the project is right on track for construction.”

Located at 121 Hamilton Regional Road 8, Queenston Road, Casa Di Torre provides quick access to the QEW and the Red Hill Valley Parkway. The area is highly walkable with Fortinos, Rexall Pharmacy, the LCBO, Tim Hortons, the Beer Store and the Hamilton Public Library all within an easy stroll of the development. Eastgate Square, a large commercial hub and future Light Rail Transit (LRT) terminal, is also nearby.

Within the building, residents will have access to an array of social, entertaining, gathering and wellness spaces. These include a fully-equipped fitness room, yoga room and social lounge with a kitchen and walk-out to a patio area. There’s also a rooftop terrace complete with stylish cabanas, a dining area, oversized, interactive chess game and two outdoor fire pits.

“Casa Di Torre is perfectly located right on Highway 8, next door to established amenities, transit and shopping,” said Dan Gabriele, President of Marz Homes. “It’s got a great Walk Score and has attracted buyers who want to live, shop and stay in the neighbourhood. We also have a social lounge that is an ideal co-working space, so there’s no need to commute.”

With construction now officially underway, excavation is expected to start shortly and in the coming months, the Casa Di Torre site will be ready for the pouring of the underground parking and concrete foundation.

“We have moved our Casa Di Torre Presentation Centre right next door in the neighbourhood plaza,” said Tina Amato, Sales Manager for Branthaven. “There are choice suites still available including spacious two-bedroom and even penthouse plans.”
