It’s crunch time for holiday shopping. With Hanukkah beginning on Sunday and Christmas on Wednesday, standard shipping just won’t cut it. For last-minute shoppers, the remaining options are limited: Brave the crowds at the mall or sort through thousands of Prime-eligible products on Amazon.
To help you find the perfect gift with one- or two-day shipping, we’ve put together a handy Amazon Prime shopping guide for the home — and all items are priced under $50.

1. For the tea or coffee lover: Gooseneck pour over kettle, $38.97
I hardly ever make myself a cuppa tea, but I would buy this gooseneck kettle just to display it on my range, that’s how gorgeous it is. It’s available in a stainless steel or copper finish and has an integrated thermometer so you can perfect your pourover coffee game.
2. For the plant lady: Two modern hanging planters by Mkono, $24.99
That friend who returns from the farmers’ market every week with three new plants in tow is likely in dire need of containers for them all. While this duo of minimalist plant hangers does not come with pots, you could easily pick some up from the dollar store to include with your gift.
3. For the gracious host: Now House by Jonathan Adler wink coasters, $34.61
If you’re headed to a party on Christmas Eve, skip the bottles of vino or printed tea towels in favor of these eye-catching coasters by designer Jonathan Adler. They make the perfect hostess gift and come in a “lovely gift box” according to one customer, so you know they’ll be easy to wrap.
4. For the vinyl collector: Umbra Zina Magazine Rack and Record Holder, $26.99
Everything Umbra makes is cool AF and this magazine rack and record holder is no exception. It can sit freestanding next to your sofa or be mounted on the wall if you’re short on floorspace. The hexagon shape adds a graphic touch while neatly displaying your favorite records or reading materials.
5. For the Netflix binger: LOMAO blanket with pom pom fringe, $23.99
This seemingly magical throw blanket has a near-perfect 4.8 star rating on Amazon. It comes in eight beautiful colors (I’m partial to the mustard yellow and green) and two sizes. The blanket is machine washable and features a whimsical pom pom trim. You might end up buying one for yourself, too!
6. For the wellness guru: LEVOIT air purifier for home with HEPA filter, $49.99
During the midst of fire season here in Southern California I did a bunch of research on apartment-sized air purifiers and this LEVOIT model came up again and again. It’s compact enough to sit on a desk or nightstand and includes a three-stage filtration system to remove 99.9 percent of air pollutants and unpleasant odors. Plus, it’s not bad to look at, unlike most air purifiers on the market.
7. For the design aficionado: Skeem Design glass fireplace match cloche bottle, $48.00
Oprah put these enormous matches on her Favorite Things list for 2019 and I wholeheartedly agree with that decision. I do not have a wood-burning fireplace, but I can imagine using these to light a scented candle in dramatic fashion. The hand blown glass cloche container is available in four trendy colors.
8. For the eternal optimist: Novogratz Hello Sunshine doormat, $21.72
Doormats take quite a beating during the winter months. Gift a friend or family member this cheerful design from the Novogratz Aloha Collection that they can throw down in front of their door when the first signs of spring appear.
9. For the classy wino: VonShef 8-10 bottle wine rack, $29.99
I beg of you, dear reader: Do not purchase whiskey stones for anyone on your list this year! No one actually uses them, they will be banished to a far corner of the freezer, never to be seen again. A geometric wine rack is a much better gift for the imbiber in your life — it can be displayed on their kitchen countertop or bar cart.
10. For the outdoorsy type: Gentlemen’s Hardware enamel coffee mug, $16.00
Enamel coffee mugs are great because no matter how many times you drop them on the kitchen floor, they will not shatter! This lightweight mug comes in four nature-themed motifs: Flying ducks, fly fishing hooks, swimming bass and a majestic-looking stag.
11. For the hard-to-shop-for person: Craft & Kin reed diffuser set, $21.95
The elevated version of a scented candle is a stylish reed diffuser set, including an elegant amber vase that can be used again and again. Choose from three heavenly scents — jasmine and lily, orange blossom and lotus, or oud wood (whatever that is). The rattan reeds emit a subtle, long-lasting scent that your guests will take notice of right away.
